Position Overview: GSSG is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fundraising Assistant to join our dynamic team. This full-time position will support the firm’s political fundraising operations through various administrative and strategic tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for political strategy and fundraising.
Key Responsibilities:
• Event Assistance: Provide logistical support for fundraising events, including coordination, preparation, and follow-up.
• Database Management: Maintain and update donor and event databases to ensure accurate and timely information.
• Graphic Design: Assist with the creation of visual materials for fundraising efforts, including event invitations, promotional materials, and social media graphics.
• Research: Conduct research on potential donors, political trends, and industry best practices to support fundraising strategies.
Qualifications:
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management software; experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A passion for political strategy and a deep interest in fundraising and political campaigns.
